A CD of the best of Manx West Gallery music. Sung in churches throughout the British Isles in the 18th and 19th centuries, West Gallery music is being rediscovered, and the Isle of Man has a particularly rich tradition of this music. Performed by local choir Caarjyn Cooidjagh, the CD features authentic arrangements and instruments, including a serpent!
