If you're aged 10 - 18 and sing, dance or play an instrument, and are interested in Manx culture, then come and join Bree (Manx for 'energy'!) for their 12th annual weekend of workshops. This year is themed around the IOM Post Office's new stamp collection, 'Manx Folk Traditions' - a set of 6 stamps designed by Manx artist Jay Cover.
Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th October, 10am - 4pm.
It's only £10 per student for an action-packed weekend, and places are strictly limited, so don't miss out!
Organised by Culture Vannin, the weekend is led by experts in the field of Manx music, folklore and dance, and is held at the Youth Arts Centre in Douglas.
Bree was formed in 2006 as a Manx music youth movement and it is to be a fun and friendly way to get involved in Manx culture and learn traditional music. The group meet once a month, and youngsters can get involved at any time. Find out more HERE
