Isle of Man Celtic gloom outfit Post War Stories are pleased to announce their first live album. Live From Kenna contains seven songs from the bands highly acclaimed live set. Recorded at their rehearsal studios on Kennaa Farm near St. Johns the band have opted to release the album themselves through downloads and streaming on the website Soundcloud.
“The support so far has been fantastic “ says Bassist Martyn Cain “We wanted to release this for a few different reasons, firstly we don’t get chance to get out and gig a lot so we wanted to keep the songs fresh in people’s minds. Our reason for using Soundcloud as a platform was the ease of downloads and streaming and the ability for people to fi nd their way through to our Facebook page once they were done listening.”
To date Live At Kennaa has been heard over 600 times and has generated new interest in the band.
Post War Stories are also busy working on a project for the Island Of Culture Festival, writing two compositions about Man Residents during the First World War.
