In just a couple of weeks Barrule will be travelling across the world to play at the National Celtic Festival in Portarlington Australia. It will be the first time a Manx group has played at the festival and the first time a Manx group has visited the country!
"We're really excited to be taking Manx music down under and spreading the word about the Isle of Man at another big Celtic festival" said Adam, "It's a great opportunity for us as a band too, hopefully we'll be able to use this to forge new links with other festivals and promoters down there so we can visit again another time."
The trip has been made possible with the generous support of Culture Vannin who have helped towards the travel costs.
More information on the festival can be found at www.nationalcelticfestival.com
