Arrane son Mannin (a song to represent the Isle of Man) will be held in November/ December 2012 and the winning group will go to the Pan-Celtic Festival in Carlow, Ireland, at Easter 2013. Competition organiser, Fiona McArdle, suggests that now is a good time to start thinking about writing a new song - original lyrics and music - so that you have time to have it translated into Manx (translators can be found for you). For more details of the competition - which is open to any style of music - please contact Fiona on: Full details of the festival are available online: www.panceltic.ie
