Congratulations to Shennaghys Jiu on another fantastic festival! The 19th festival took place in Ramsey and Andreas over the Easter weekend with a range of concerts, school visits, ceilidhs, art exhibition, workshops, sessions and a open mic/bands night. Visiting acts Ross Hull, Cameron Grant and Christian Gamauf, The Christine Wilson Dancers (Scotland), Achrann & the Kilcummin Set Dancers (Ireland) joined local acts for a jam-packed long weekend of Celtic culture.
Manx music stalwart Mike Boulton received the first Shennaghys Jiu Award, for his contribution to the festival, and his continued work in developing a love of traditional music in new generations of children [pictured].
