Scoill Daunse Yernagh Ellan Vannin awarded Manx Inspirations trophy 2014

During a pre-festival event during Manx National week, Yn Chruinnaght presented Sharon Rye and her Irish dance school 'Scoill Daunse Yernagh Ellan Vannin' with a special award for their contribution towards culture on the Island. The talented young dancers performed before a packed crowd in Mooragh Park on Sun 6 July.

Local company Manx Inspirations and Yn Chruinnaght award the glass trophy each year to deserving groups or individuals. Past recipients include Nish as Rish, Mo Chara, Rinceoiri an Chlair and Isla Callister-Wafer.
