A unique collection of nearly 250 hymns by Manx composers, many of whom were amateur musicians. These hymns have been collected from private manuscripts, rare publications and other sources which have not been available for many years. The collection is a testimony to the vibrant musical life of the Isle of Man. Some of the hymns are composed in four-parts and others are in unison with piano accompaniment. There are an additional 50 with texts only. The book is specially bound facilitate use on music stands.
